The true story of Thurgood Marshall (Chadwick Boseman) who, before he became a Supreme Court justice, was an attorney for the NAACP. Amid racism and anti-Semitism, young Marshall teams up with a Jewish lawyer with no criminal law experience to defend the black chauffeur accused by his white employer (Kate Hudson) of sexual assault and attempted murder.
